It is celebrated annually on June 12, marking the declaration of independence in 1898. This day is a symbol of the Filipinos’ resilience and determination for sovereignty. The celebration includes flag-raising ceremonies, parades, and various patriotic events, as the nation reflects on its history and honors the bravery of its heroes.
